Khau Pha Valley is belonged to Mu Cang Chai district. The immense water fields are interlaced with high rice paddies in water-pouring season of Yen Bai. Traveling into Mu Cang Chai, you can try going in the end days of the spring. In this time, people here begin planting rice to the terraces. All of Mu Cang Chai looks like a fairy world. The water pouring in the field can reflect the souring sky, makes a fantastic pictures of mountains and forests.

The panoramic field with different colors of many rice plots makes a wonderful natural picture. This is also the place which brings a prosperous life for the people of Mong, Thai in Cao Pha Valley. Sometimes, the children with ages from 10 to 11 years old have to do the farm work to help their families.
