Danang is one of the most visited cities in Vietnam and valuable pearls in Southeast Asia. With plenty of beautiful beaches, tasty dishes, and friendly locals, the place has become the most attractive destination for both citizens and foreigners.
 

Ba Na Hills

This hill is located on Chua mountain, 1489m above the sea level, 25km from the city center.  Early in the 20th century, the French soldiers discovered the hill. The climate is quite cool with the average temperature of 18 degrees C; therefore, tourists can enjoy the fresh air and see the surroundings from the above view. It also is a good idea to take photos of green trees and colorful flowers around the hill.

In addition, on the top of the hill, there is a French village built in western-styled architecture and interesting games. After the cable car system was erected in 2006, more and more tourists poured to the place. There are the Morin hotel constructed in the 20th century and Le Jardin d’Amour love garden also laying on the top of the hill. In 2004, Linh Ung pagoda with the 27-meter-high statue of Gautama Buddha was completed as a spirit location for tourists.
 

Son Tra peninsula

It is considered as the “green lung” of Danang city. With the area of 4.439 hectares, its abundant flora and fauna are fully preserved. Reaching there, tourists will catch sight of the 67-meter-high statue of Guanyin. Plus, standing on the top of 700-meter-high mountains, they are easily able to contemplate the whole city and the curvy, long coast.

Walking along the road on the Sothern peninsula, tourists will reach the Ban Co peak. The serpentine path with huge wooden plants and fresh air always attracts numerous visitors, particularly backpackers. Besides, beaches around the peninsula are also available for visit such as But, Xep, and Tien Sa.
 

Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son)

8km from the city center, the cluster of moutains consists of 6 limestone mountains named after five elements: Kim Son (metal), Moc Son (wood), Thuy Son (water), Hoa Son (fire), and Tho Son (earth). Tourists often come here to watch the beautiful natural scene and learn about spiritual and historical values.

The highest mountain – Thuy Son includes four temples: Linh Ung, Tam Tam, Tam Thai, and Tu Tam. Tam Thai is the oldest one with relics of sea observatory, telescope place, Hoa Nghiem cave, and Huyen Khong cave. Tourists can choose either travelling on foot or using a lift to reach the mountain.
Another location you should visit is the Non Nuoc village of stone carving which is well-known for delicate and beautiful products.
 

My Khe beach

In July 2013, the Forbes Magazine selected My Khe as one of the most seductive beaches in the world. The 900-meter-long beach has flat sand and medium waves, which is suitable to swim and play underwater sports. The beach is situated near the center with convenient traffic, thus many sightseers come here to release stress after a long day moving around the city.

If you come to the beach on a sunny day, you can see the pure blue water and a more peaceful view to relax. Children love to play around or build sand castles. The beach is divided into different sections, including Pham Van Dong, T20, 1, 2, and 3 section, so visitors can easily and freely choose the appropriate one.

Not only is Danang famous for the natural scenery, it is also well-known for bridges crossing Han river. The view is more impressive when the lights are on. The best way to observe is buying tickets to travel by boat while watching multi-colored bridges, such as Thuan Phuoc, Rong, Song Han, and Tien Son. Each trip lasts for one hour so that they can enjoy the wind, as well as saving beautiful photos. Especially, in weekend, Rong bridge usually send a stream of water into the air, which catches people’s attention.

Hai Van pass

This is the natural border between Thua Thien – Hue province and Danang city. Standing on the pass, tourists are likely to submerge in the wide nature with layers of mountains, green plants next to the waggly road. They can also watch the city, Tien Sa port or Thua Thien – Hue.

When the highway tunnel under the pass finished, not many vehicles travel through the pass. Therefore, it becomes the interesting road for motorists. You can wait to see the sunset in the temperature of 20 degrees C.

Love lock bridge

It is built as a yatch port placed on one side of Rong bridge. This bridge is a must-go, especially when you travel to Danang with your dazzling. According to a legend, if a couple buckle a lock on this bridge, their love will last forever since the lock has no key to open. The beautiful bridge also is a favorite spot to shoot wedding photos.

The arched bridge has the length of 68m and the width of 6m. At night, there are hundreds of red heart-shaped lanterns lighting which reflects their shadows into the water surface, creating a romantic scene.
 

Golden bridge

Constructed on the height of 1400m above the sea level, the bridge is 148.6m long divided into 8 spans, the longest of which is about 21.2m. Designed for pedestrians only, the bridge is made from steel painted gold with the width of 3m. Belonging to the Ba Na Hills resort, the Golden bridge has gone viral during the whole 2018.
